The wildcard tags are replaced with their corresponding values when creating the file.
Date provides the current date in the format YYYY-MMDD.
View Name provides the name of the view. If it is a sheet, the sheet name will be used.
Sheet No. provides the sheet number. This only applies to views that are sheets. If multiple files types are being exported, the Sheet No. wildcard will be skipped for views that are not sheets.
Title provides the document’s title (Revit file name).
Additional text can be added to the name, such as a prefix, suffix, or any separators between each wildcard tag.

When opening, you will see a Connecting… loading screen. The tool is connecting to the database which hosts the shared parameters.
Once loaded, you will be presented with a window dialog that has similar functionalities as Revit’s native shared parameter modification window.
The Parameter Group drop down allows you to select the parameter group in which parameters are associated with (similar to Revit’s functionality).
When a Parameter Group is selected, the parameters associated with the group will be populated under the Parameters panel.

The Selected Parameters panel shows the parameters that were selected to import into the Revit document from the main dialog. The parameters are not selectable as a default.
The Group Under drop down assigns the grouping for the parameter within the Revit document.
The Instance Parameter checkbox selects whether the parameter is an Instance parameter. If not checked, the parameter will be a Type parameter.
The Apply to All Parameters checkbox selects whether all the properties should be assigned to all the selected parameters. If this is unchecked, the parameters will become selectable and each one can be assigned individually.
The Categories panel shows the Revit categories to assign the parameters.
